This is a thin wooden structure distressed in the studio has mixed media bolts strategically applied.
The base is freshwater driftwood.
Inspiration for this came from wooden relics collected from the shore of the Medway estuary at Riverside Country Park. The meeting point for the River Thames and the River Medway and the gathering point for abandoned or lost small boats where wind, tide and time gradually reclaims them for the earth.
